A. Lange & Söhne 234.032, a premium hand-wound mechanical watch from Glashütte, Germany, launched in 2013. It features an 18-carat pink gold case of 39 mm diameter and 8.7 mm thickness. The solid 925 silver argenté dial with blued steel hands carries the traditional UP/DOWN power-reserve indicator (AUF for fully wound, AB for unwound), plus a small seconds subdial. It is powered by the in-house hand-wound movement L051.2, composed of 245 parts, offering a 72-hour power reserve at 21,600 vibrations per hour. The watch has a sapphire case back, brown alligator leather strap and an 18-carat pink gold pin buckle. The 1815 collection inherits the design from vintage pocket watches of the brand’s founder. Elegant and understated, it is a classic German dress watch.
